That’s not a Hat was nominated for it’s first award before it was even released (it didn’t win, though).
But it later won the Golden Geek award 2023 for best party game (board game geek’s awards).
It was also on the recommendation list for Spiel des Jahres 2023 and Juego del Año 2023, and was nominated for the MinD Spielepreis 2023.
It’s an extremely simple party game. In principle it’s a memory game, but really it’s about bluffing. You will be sending gifts around the table, trying to remember what you have and what you send. But when you don’t remember, don’t let it show, cause the other player’s may be just as lost as you!
